What are musculoskeletal injuries?
Musculoskeletal injuries are when damage or harm occurs to your muscles, bones, or joints. In the event of a car crash, this type of injury is highly likely and can range from short-term injuries such as a sprain to long-term and more serious conditions such as paralysis due to a fracture or break.
The most common injuries that are associated with a car crash include:
- Strains/sprains
- Bruising
- Dislocations
- Fractures
